ADATO

ADATO fosters a culture of debate across disciplines, offering young thinkers a platform to test ideas and connecting diverse critical voices worldwide.

 

Two issues of ADATO are published each year in an edition of 700 copies by a dedicated team of friends and young professionals: Eleni Palles, Nikolas Ettel, Jérôme Becker and Anna Valentiny shared for many years a self-chosen home in Vienna (Austria), and work and live today scattered across the world.

This constellation opens up a remarkable potential for ADATO: the magazine emancipates itself from short-lived local trends while pursuing new and innovative content within an international horizon. At the same time, and with half of the editorial team originating from Luxembourg, ADATO maintains a strong intellectual connection to the Grand Duchy's architectural and cultural scene. Through the repeated confrontation of the national with the international narrative canon, ADATO compels Luxembourg’s discourse to position itself within a broader global context
